A beginners guide to Solar
Solar panels convert the energy in sunlight from solar energy to electrical energy by using materials that produce an electrical current when exposed to sunlight. This type of material is known as Photovoltaic or PV.

The most common question we are asked by our customers is why should I invest in Solar? There are several reasons, and below we have listed the benefits of installing a Solar System on your property.

  • Free electricity from the sun
  • Protects you from the rising electricity prices

  • Reduces your carbon omissions

  • Compensates you for any unused solar your system produces

  • Adds value to your home

How does Solar Work?

  • Solar Photo-voltaic panels are installed on your roof and generate electricity from the sun/ light.
  • Your panels Dc Power then report to the connected inverter which then converts sunlight to electricity Ac Power which can then be used within your home.
  • The solar power generated is used within your home by your appliances you use. (Example – Washing machine, television, dishwasher, pool pump etc.)
  • The excess solar electricity which is not consumed within your home is then fed back into the electricity grid, which your electricity retailer credits you for this unused amount.
  • During the evenings or when your power consumption is more than you have produced from the solar, electricity is then drawn from the grid.
